Joe
Woodard is an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and Intuit Solution
Provider with over 10 years of experience supporting clients who use
QuickBooks. Since Joe began teaching QuickBooks 10 years ago, he has taught
over 20,000 QuickBooks consultants across the country and he currently works
state CPA societies and large CPA firms to present advanced QuickBooks
instruction to accounting professionals and software consultants. Joe is the
host of the Scaling New Heights conference and is also host and founder of
The National Advisor Network.
Joe Woodard has earned a unique, national reputation a trainer, consultant
and author on Intuit-related topics. Joe periodically provides
advisory services to Intuit regarding product development, project
management, and Intuit's interaction with accounting professionals. In 2009,
Joe self-published the technical manual "Top 100 QuickBooks Tips,
Tricks and Workarounds."
Joe has built two successful accounting software consulting practices: the
first in New Orleans, Louisiana and the second in Atlanta, Georgia – The
Woodard Consulting Group. In addition to consulting with small and medium
sized businesses, The Woodard Consulting Group provides advisory services to
CPA firms and other QuickBooks ProAdvisors/Intuit Solution Providers across
the country -- helping them to better service their clients who use Intuit
products.
In 2009, Joe became the only Method authorized trainer for Method Solution
Provider certification in the U.S. Joe hosts Method Certification Boot Camps
on a regular basis to prepare
professionals to provide Method consulting services to their clients. In
2009 Joe used the Method platform to develop Pendulum - an online timesheet
application that integrates with QuickBooks.
In 2006, Joe was recognized in The CPA Technology Advisor's first
annual 40 Under 40 recognition program as one of the tax and accounting
profession's up and coming thought leaders who will help steward the
continued evolution of technology in the practice.

Laura Madeira
Laura will present on QuickBooks topics
Laura Madeira is the owner of ACS, Inc., a software sales and consulting firm located in the greater Dallas, Texas area. Her affiliations with Intuit include being an Intuit Solution Provider, a select Member of the Intuit Trainer/Writer Network, Advanced QuickBooks Certified, Enterprise and Point of Sale Certified and member of the Intuit Solution Provider Advisory Council.
Laura is also the author of the QuickBooks 2010 Solutions Guide, QuickBooks Essentials: For All QuickBooks Users, a 9+ hours of self-paced video instruction and co-author of QuickBooks 2010 on Demand all offered by Que Publishing.
For more than 22 years Laura has worked with companies of all sizes and from many varied industries. Her focus has been to help the small to mid-sized growing businesses become more successful by automating their internal accounting processes and reporting functions.
Additionally, Laura is a guest speaker for Intuit, providing training to thousands of consultants and accountants nationwide. She is also a respected author for Intuit writing technical training materials presentations and documenting her research and review of competing software solutions. Her QuickBooks at Year-End document is one of the most sought after publications that Intuit offers its ProAdvisor consultants.
Laura has served on two Intuit Customer Advisory Councils, and has been a consultant representing the accountant community during product development for QuickBooks 2010. She earned her accounting degree from Florida Atlantic University.

Mario Nowogrodzki is an information systems consultant and instructor. He is the founder and principal of Mendelson Consulting (established in 1992), specializing in QuickBooks and information technology consulting services. The firm focuses on providing a solution-based approach, customized to each client's individual and specific needs. The combination of Mario’s accounting and technology background with the expert knowledge of QuickBooks financial software gives clients an unparalleled edge. Mario holds Master of Accounting Information Systems and Bachelor of Accounting degrees. He is a Certified Public Accountant since 1992 and has received the Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) designation from the American Institute of CPAs. Mario is an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, Certified QuickBooks Enterprise ProAdvisor, Certified QuickBooks POS ProAdvisor, and member of the Intuit Trainer/Writer Network. A leading figure on the national QuickBooks scene, Mario was selected to be a charter member of the QuickBooks Enterprise Solution Provider and the QuickBooks POS Retail Solution Provider Programs; he currently serves on the Intuit Solution Provider Program Advisory Council.
A frequent author and instructor of QuickBooks and technology topics for accountants and continuing education programs, Mario is a contributing author and speaker for Intuit and The Sleeter Group on QuickBooks and technology. He was recently recognized as a ‘2008 Killer VAR’, a prestigious distinction awarded by "Accounting Technology" magazine acknowledging commitment and character as a value-added-reselling organization. His firm was recently selected as a ‘2008 Technology Pacesetter’ by "Accounting Technology" magazine recognizing its reputation among peers and participation on advisory boards and speaker panels at industry events.

Michelle L. Long is the owner of Long for Success, LLC specializing in QuickBooks Consulting & Training services as well as coaching small business owners to start and grow their business. She is an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and has a unique relationship with Intuit as one of the few national trainers, consultant for product development and author for Intuit Academy. In addition to teaching thousands of people about QuickBooks, Michelle is the author of the book Successful QuickBooks Consulting: The Comprehensive Guide to Starting and Growing a QuickBooks Consulting Business. She was Technical Editor for Laura Madeira’s book: QuickBooks 2009 Solutions Guide and is a Certified QuickBooks Enterprise ProAdvisor, Certified QuickBooks POS ProAdvisor, and Sleeter Group Certified Consultant.
Michelle was named a Financial Services Champion of the Year for 2007 by the Small Business Administration in recognition of her dedication to helping entrepreneurs and small business owners. She is a Certified FastTrac Facilitator and has facilitated the Kauffman Foundation’s FastTrac NewVenture program and Listening to Your Business workshop. She has been instrumental in helping hundreds of entrepreneurs start and grow their business. In her prior positions Jennifer has provided general public
accounting services in the areas of tax, audit, financial
statement preparation, management and strategic planning
services, tax planning, as well as fiduciary and estate probate
work to a diverse client base. She has also previously served
as the Controller for a large staffing company. In that
position she was an integral part of an Accounts Receivable Task
Force comprised of the company President, CFO and manager of
each of the company’s 19 offices that created “best practices”
for cash receipts and application, with an estimated $1.5
million cost savings to the Company. She supervised staff in
the areas of Financial Reporting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts
Payable, and a payroll team that processed over 7500 timesheets
each week.
Jennifer
is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants; the Connecticut Society of Certified Public
Accountants; Intuit’s Trainer Writer Network; and Intuit’s
Accountant and Customer Advisor Council, 2008-2009 and
2009-2010. She is a frequent speaker on a variety of technology
solution, accounting, and business management topics. Jennifer resides in Danbury, CT with her husband. They enjoy travelling, spending time with their family and friends, and volunteering in the community. Jennifer also enjoys playing tennis. |

Robin Hall is the owner and principal consultant of VARC Solutions in
Friendswood, TX specializing in QuickBooks and QuickBase training and
consulting. Her forte is taking small and large business clients to the next
level with QuickBooks; Robin is also the developer of Solution Provider
tools, most notably VARCBase, a business management solution made
exclusively for ProAdvisors, Solution Providers and accountants.

William English is owner of English Management Solutions, Inc, has over twenty years of helping small businesses, retailers and non-profits manage their finances. Mr. English holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with an Accountancy focus from National University in San Diego. He has been a certified ProAdvisor since 2002, a Certified Point of Sale ProAdvisor since version 2.1, an Advanced Certified ProAdvisor since 2007 and is Enterprise Certified since version 9.0.
Mr. English has been using and supporting QuickBooks for over 15 years starting with the first DOS version of QuickBooks where he was hired by Intuit as one of the first accounting trained technical support representatives for the program. Mr. English has been installing, training and supporting QuickBooks Point of Sale clients since version 2.1 and is an active beta tester for both QuickBooks Financial and Point of Sale Products. He was a founding member of the Retail Solution Provider program and has won numerous sales and service awards in that program until it’s merger into the Intuit Solution Provider Program . Mr. English has been active in training and supporting both retail customers and other Point of Sale ProAdvisors through his articles on the Intuit ProConnection site, training webinars through his web site as well as his postings on the Point of Sale Community Site.
Steve Green
Steve will present sessions on QuickBooks Point of Sale
QuickBooks and QuickBooks Point of Sale consulting work is the cornerstone
of Steve’s practice and he has been actively involved with the application
since 1996. After twenty years experience as a software consultant and
operational manager with one of Sacramento’s largest independent accounting
firms, Steve formed SDG Business Solutions, LLC to provide small business
owners with the highest level of quality QuickBooks consulting services.
Victor will lead the Business Plan Workshop
J. Victor Nahigian is the founder and CEO of Systems Analysis Services Inc., based in Newton, Mass. Since 1977, the company has provided desktop, server, infrastructure, security, security, web design and general computer services to businesses from $5million to $1billion. Our firm currently employs over a dozen employees.
Nahigian’s background in computers started at a young age and by high school, he had already written several books and won national and regional programming contests. He started his own business in 1974 at the age of 16, and, without an accounting degree he wrote the software program General Business Systems (GBS), with virtually the same function as QuickBooks accounting software. With focus on sales and support, GBS has made Systems Analysis a leading reseller for Wang Laboratories, IBM, and Hewlett Packard. GBS is still used by many Fortune 500 companies in New England, including the Boston Red Sox Souvenir Stores. Our company has excelled on customized add-ons for accounting products such as SBT Accounting, Sage MAS Systems, Peachtree, Great Plains, and many other customized (home grown) systems.
Through 1980’s, Nahigian was a leading instructor (at night) for Northeastern University and pioneered the Continuing Education Classes in Computer Sciences. Nahigian also was the one of the first coaches in a program started by Babson College (over 15 years ago) called “Coaching for Leadership and teamwork”. Nahigian is active with Babson College in evaluating and grading business plans for Babson College graduate program
A resident of Weston, Mass., Nahigian dual majored in Business Management, Technology and Society with a minor in Accounting while getting a Bachelor of Science in Business at Babson College where Nahigian learned the importance of delegating and satisfying clients and employees. Babson College is ranked #1 for Entrepreneurship by US News. Nahigian and his company was a pioneer in providing computer systems to first time computer users throughout the 1980’s. Nahigian holds a degree as a “Lecturer” from North Eastern University in 1982. Nahigian additionally holds several certifications from Microsoft, IBM, Novell, SCO, and advanced certifications from Intuit. In 2006 Nahigian was invited to the Intuit advisory board and in 2008 was an Intuit Sales Achievement Award Winner.
