Laura Madeira is the owner of ACS, Inc., a software sales and consulting firm located in the greater Dallas, Texas area. Laura is also the author of the QuickBooks 2010 Solutions Guide, QuickBooks Essentials: For All QuickBooks Users, a 9+ hours of self-paced video instruction and co-author of QuickBooks 2010 on Demand all offered by Que Publishing.
For more than 22 years Laura has worked with companies of all sizes and from many varied industries. Her focus has been to help the small to mid-sized growing businesses become more successful by automating their internal accounting processes and reporting functions.
Additionally, Laura is a guest speaker for Intuit, providing training to thousands of consultants and accountants nationwide. She is also a respected author for Intuit writing technical training materials presentations and documenting her research and review of competing software solutions. Her QuickBooks at Year-End document is one of the most sought after publications that Intuit offers its ProAdvisor consultants.
Laura has served on two Intuit Customer Advisory Councils, and has been a consultant representing the accountant community during product development for QuickBooks 2010. She earned her accounting degree from Florida Atlantic University.

Joe Woodard is an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and Intuit Solution Provider with over 10 years of experience supporting clients who use QuickBooks. Since Joe began teaching QuickBooks 10 years ago, he has taught over 20,000 QuickBooks consultants across the country and he currently works state CPA societies and large CPA firms to present advanced QuickBooks instruction to accounting professionals and software consultants. Joe is the host of the Scaling New Heights conference and is also host and founder of The National Advisor Network.
Joe Woodard has earned a unique, national reputation a trainer, consultant
and author on Intuit-related topics. Joe regularly publishes articles as a
freelance columnist for the Intuit ProConnection and QuickBooks ProAdvisor
newsletters and he has a regularly, monthly column at AccountingWeb - an
online magazine for accounting professionals. Joe periodically provides
advisory services to Intuit regarding product development, project
management, and Intuit's interaction with accounting professionals. In 2009,
Joe self-published two technical manuals on QuickBooks: 100 QuickBooks Tips,
Tricks and Workarounds, and Archiving QuickBooks Data Files. Joe is
currently working on a book for release during 2010 called The Ultimate
Guide to Troubleshooting QuickBooks Files and a technical manual on Method
called The Official Method Solution Provider's Reference Guide.
Joe has built two successful accounting software consulting practices: the
first in New Orleans, Louisiana and the second in Atlanta, Georgia – The
Woodard Consulting Group. In addition to consulting with small and medium
sized businesses, The Woodard Consulting Group provides advisory services to
CPA firms and other QuickBooks ProAdvisors/Intuit Solution Providers across
the country -- helping them to better service their clients who use Intuit
products.
In 2009, Joe became the only Method authorized trainer for Method Solution
Provider certification in the U.S. and the only Method recognized author of
The Official Method Solution Provider's Reference Guide. Joe will host a
series of Method Certification Boot Camps during 2010 to prepare
professionals to provide Method consulting services to their clients. In
2009 Joe used the Method platform to develop Pendulum - an online timesheet
application that integrates with QuickBooks.
In 2006, Joe was also recognized in The CPA Technology Advisor's first
annual 40 Under 40 recognition program as one of the tax and accounting
profession's up and coming thought leaders who will help steward the
continued evolution of technology in the practice.
Georg Gerstenfeld

Georg will
present our opening keynote address.
As the vice president of marketing for the Accounting Professionals Division
of Intuit Inc., Georg Gerstenfeld leads the marketing teams in development
of strategy, priorities, and initiatives to increase customer acquisition
and retention and to drive revenue growth. In addition, Georg’s teams
develop the QuickBooks ProAdvisor Program for accounting professionals and
consultants who serve clients that use QuickBooks to run their businesses.
Georg joined Intuit in 1999, serving in various leader roles, including
Intuit’s Retail Channel Group, Quicken, and Accountant Central teams. He has
received two Intuit “CEO Leadership” Awards: one for the launch strategy for
QuickBooks Point of Sale and the second for Intuit’s Green/Social
Responsibility initiatives. Prior to Intuit, Georg held leadership positions
in advertising and media at Ketchum, DMB&B, and in marketing at Sprint PCS.
Georg holds a B.A. degree from Cornell University and has studied at
Universitaet Hamburg.
BJ Schaknowski

BJ will present our final keynote address.
BJ joined Intuit in 2008 to lead Intuit’s Mid
Market and Retail Solution direct and channel sales teams. In 2009 he
transitioned into a new role where he is responsible for the overall
development and execution of the company’s newly consolidated solution
provider channel strategy. Before joining Intuit, BJ held several senior
positions at Sage Software including leading sales operations and strategy,
M&A and North American customer migration. He held senior sales leadership
positions with New Horizons Computer Learning Centers where he oversaw
enterprise sales to the Fortune 500 and with Knowledge Alliance, a VC funded
technology training firm, where he helped build the sales organization from
the ground up. BJ spent eight years serving in the United States Marine
Corps Reserves in the infantry and is an active marathoner and Ironman
triathlete. He holds a BA from the State University of New York at Geneseo
and a MBA from The University of Georgia’s Terry School of Business.

Amy Vetter, CPA.CITP is a Major Accounts Manager for Intuit - Southeast Region - where she consults with larger CPA firms on the use of Intuit software for their clients. In this role Amy provides guidance almost exclusively within the mid-market sector. Previously, Amy was Executive Director of Technology In A Box and President of AV Accounting Services, Inc. in Florida where end-to-end financial, operational and technology solutions and accounting services are delivered to their clients. Prior to Technology In A Box, Amy’s diverse background includes internal auditing, financial and operational process improvement for Fortune 500 companies and private industries, as well as external financial statement audit work for KPMG. Amy is an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, Intuit Solution Provider and a National Speaker and Writer on QuickBooks and Business Development topics for Intuit, Inc. and various CPA Societies and Consulting groups across the country. She has been a participant in the Accountant and Advisory Customer Council for Intuit, Inc. during 2006-2008 and the Intuit Solution Provider Advisory Council for 2009-2010. Amy has been recognized by The CPA Technology Advisor as an outstanding 40 under 40 technology-based Accountant in 2006 and 2009, was awarded South Florida Business Journal's Up & Comer Award in 2007 for her expertise in accounting and is a member of the Technology Advisory Panel for AICPA's Journal of Accountancy.

Dan Schroeder, CPA, CISM, CISA, CIA is a Partner at Habif, Arogeti, & Wynne LLP (“HA&W”) in Atlanta, GA - Georgia's largest CPA firm. Dan is responsible for HA&W’s IT Audit and Assurance practice whose services include SAS 70, security, privacy, technology planning and selection.
Dan has over 20 years experience in IT risk management and over 8 years experience managing IT Audit & Assurance functions at leading CPA firms like HA&W. Dan's areas of expertise include IT Audit and Attestation, Internal Audit and Compliance, and Governance and CIO Services such as Enterprise IT Risk Management Program Definition and Deployment.
Dan serves as the Chairperson of the AICPA IT Executive Committee, and writes and speaks frequently on the subjects of technology auditing and risk management. Recently, Dan spoke on the subject of IT risk based auditing at the AICPA NAAATs 2009 conference and also at the AICPA TECH+ 2008 conference.
In addition to the AICPA, Dan is a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).

Mario Nowogrodzki is an information systems consultant and instructor. Robin Hall

Robin Hall is the owner and principal consultant of VARC Solutions in
Friendswood, TX specializing in QuickBooks and QuickBase training and
consulting. Her forte is taking small and large business clients to the next
level with QuickBooks; Robin is also the developer of Solution Provider
tools, most notably VARCBase, a business management solution made
exclusively for ProAdvisors, Solution Providers and accountants.
Robin has been a Certified QuickBooks Professional Advisor since 1999 and
was part of the original pilot program for ISPs in 2006. In addition to
being a contributor to Introduction to QuickBooks Pro 2004, Fifth Edition,
Robin spoke at last year’s Scaling New Heights – An Advanced Training
Conference for Intuit Advisors and was also a presenter on QuickBase at
Intuit’s Annual Solution Provider Conference this past October to almost 600

Julio Aguilar

Julio Aguilar is the Senior Support Specialist for VARC Solutions in Friendswood, TX. Julio has 10 years of technical expertise with Intuit products from the combined perspectives of technical support, software development, beta testing and training. Julio worked hand in hand with the development and quality control teams for Intuit Warehouse Management ES (WMES) module, and was an integral part of that software’s beta testing team. He also developed and conducted the training video for Warehouse Management ES, which is still in use. In addition to providing support for VARC Solutions’ clients in Spanish as well as conducting QuickBooks and QuickBase training classes in Spanish, Julio is also in the process of developing custom views for the US version of QuickBooks in other languages. Julio has earned Warehouse Management ES, QuickBase, QBES and A+ Certifications as well as Intuit’s Star Performer award in 2004, 2005 and 2006.

Bob will present sessions and conduct labs on QuickBooks Point of Sale
Small Business Solutions LLC has supported QuickBooks users
all over the North Alabama and South Central Tennessee area since 2006.
Bob's primary focus is with users of Intuit’s QuickBooks Point-of-Sale. He
has worked with computers and accounting for over 29 years and has been
member of QuickBooks Professional Advisor since its inception. In 1999 he
became QuickBooks Certified and Advanced QuickBooks Certified in 2007. Bob
first certified on QuickBooks Point-of-Sale in 2003. For several years he
was an active part of Intuit’s Retail Solution Provider program until it was
merged into the current Intuit Solution Provider program.
Locally he is known as “the” QuickBooks guy. Many local organizations refer
businesses to Bob, such as the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of
Commerce, BNI, Better Business Bureau of North Alabama, and Women’s Business
Center of North Alabama. He has spent years teaching QuickBooks for New
Horizons Computer Learning Center and other training centers in the area.
For over nearly 5 years Bob worked for an accounting/POS software
development company testing, supporting, training, and writing/editing
manuals for Fiscal Systems, Inc.
For ten years Bob was a co-owner of the local offices of Padgett Business
Services. Padgett is a national accounting franchise with over 300 offices
in the U.S. and Canada. He and his partner started the local office and for
7 years they were in the top ten percent of the franchise system and in 2005
they won office of the year. In 2006 he sold his accounting practice to do
what he loves to do which is help small owner operated retail businesses
with their QuickBooks & QuickBooks Point-of-Sale systems.
MB Raimondi

MB Raimondi is a CPA, CITP with a Masters in Taxation and has
been in practice for over 25 years. She has used QuickBooks since the DOS
version and set up all her small businesses using QuickBooks. She is an
active user of QuickBooks Remote Access, QuickBooks Merchant Services and
ProSeries tax software.
MB is an Advanced QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor as well as being certified
in QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions. She is a charter member of the Intuit
Training/Writing Network, member of the Sleeter Group and has been teaching
QuickBooks seminars nationally since 1999. MB’s focus is mainly on
QuickBooks consulting, 3rd party integration and training.
William English

William English is owner of English Management Solutions, Inc, has over twenty years of helping small businesses, retailers and non-profits manage their finances. Mr. English holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with an Accountancy focus from National University in San Diego. He has been a certified ProAdvisor since 2002, a Certified Point of Sale ProAdvisor since version 2.1, an Advanced Certified ProAdvisor since 2007 and is Enterprise Certified since version 9.0.
Mr. English has been using and supporting QuickBooks for over 15 years starting with the first DOS version of QuickBooks where he was hired by Intuit as one of the first accounting trained technical support representatives for the program. Mr. English has been installing, training and supporting QuickBooks Point of Sale clients since version 2.1 and is an active beta tester for both QuickBooks Financial and Point of Sale Products. He was a founding member of the Retail Solution Provider program and has won numerous sales and service awards in that program until it’s merger into the Intuit Solution Provider Program . Mr. English has been active in training and supporting both retail customers and other Point of Sale ProAdvisors through his articles on the Intuit ProConnection site, training webinars through his web site as well as his postings on the Point of Sale Community Site.

Gail will present a practice strategy session entitled, "Getting Published Online"
Gail is a financial journalist, author, speaker, and instructor. She is the managing editor at AccountingWEB, the online daily newsmagazine for members of the tax and accounting community, with a subscriber base of 56,000 and an estimated readership of over 100,000 unique readers per month. Ms. Perry is a former senior tax accountant with Deloitte, and she continues to maintain a tax and financial consulting practice. She is the author of 28 books on various aspects of personal finance, taxation, and financial software, including Surviving Financial Downsizing: A Practical Guide to Living Well on Less Income. Ms. Perry has also written hundreds of articles for newspapers, magazines, and financial Web sites, she was a contributing editor for Accounting Today magazine for five years, and she was a weekly tax columnist for five years for the Indianapolis Star and Indianapolis News daily newspapers. Ms. Perry spent 10 years as a classroom instructor for the Indiana CPA Society, is a former college accounting instructor, and has led many live Webcasts covering various financial issues. She has also been a guest on various local and national television and radio programs. Ms. Perry currently teaches a college-level personal finance course, and she speaks at CPA society and other professional accounting conferences and events on various aspects of Web marketing and social media.
Gregg Bossen, CPA

Gregg will present a session entitled, "QuickBooks for Non-Profits: Tips, Tricks and Best Practices."
Gregg is a graduate of Emory University,
where he received his B.B.A. from Emory’s Goizueta Business School. After
graduating he went to work for KPMG Peat Marwick, a “big 5” accounting firm,
in their audit department.
In 1989 Gregg started a practice in Atlanta, Georgia - Gregg S. Bossen, CPA
P.C. In 2000, Gregg began teaching QuickBooks seminars around the country
for Real World Training and presented over 200 training sessions on
QuickBooks to QuickBooks end users and to other accounting professionals. In
2003 Gregg began teaching as a contracted instructor for Intuit. In this
role Gregg has trained hundreds of other accounting professionals on topics
related to QuickBooks.
Gregg is the developer of a CD-ROM/DVD training class that teaches
nonprofits how to use QuickBooks to fulfill their unique accounting needs.
The class - "QuickBooks for Nonprofits," is currently being sold around the
country by both Intuit and Real World Training.

Bonnie J. Nagayama, CPA is an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. She
